Head of UK Operations – Walk the Congo
Leading operations and strategic partnerships for a bold expedition project charting the length of the Congo River, designed to spotlight the stories of women living in one of the world’s most complex environments.
Recruited to shape the sponsorship and funding structure, later appointed Head of Operations
Secured partnerships across media, production, and philanthropic sectors — including full funding commitment for a US-produced feature documentary
Built and led a multidisciplinary team of six, plus an advisory board spanning public relations, medical, exploration, and activism
Developed pitch materials and hosted launch events to raise awareness and attract global attention to the region’s culture, resilience, and environmental challenges
Though the expedition was paused due to COVID-19, the mission remains active — to share untold stories from the heart of the Congo through authentic, human-led exploration.
