Head of UK Operations – Walk the Congo
Leading operations and strategic partnerships for a bold expedition project charting the length of the Congo River, designed to spotlight the stories of women living in one of the world’s most complex environments.

  • Recruited to shape the sponsorship and funding structure, later appointed Head of Operations

  • Secured partnerships across media, production, and philanthropic sectors — including full funding commitment for a US-produced feature documentary

  • Built and led a multidisciplinary team of six, plus an advisory board spanning public relations, medical, exploration, and activism

  • Developed pitch materials and hosted launch events to raise awareness and attract global attention to the region’s culture, resilience, and environmental challenges

  • Though the expedition was paused due to COVID-19, the mission remains active — to share untold stories from the heart of the Congo through authentic, human-led exploration.
